Part 1
- Mix the flour, 3 tablespoons of caster sugar, milk, oil, 1 egg and yeast thoroughly
- Pour the mixture into a 24cm mould (with baking paper)
- Drain the pears, cut them into strips and place the sliced pears in the mixture
Bake for 25 minutes, the cake should be golden brown
Part Two
- Melt 80g of butter, beat it with 3 tablespoons of caster sugar and 1 egg
- Pour the frothy mixture over the baked cake
- Place a few toasted flaked almonds on top of the mixture
Return to the oven for 20 minutes until the cake is golden again.
