Fig, goat cheese, honey and walnut tart

Fig tart st mamet

Ingredients

-1 puff pastry
-2 boxes of "St Mamet"figs
-1 fresh goat's cheese log or 4 Rocamadours
-80 g butter
-2 tablespoons of organic honey
-Pepper
-10 walnut kernels

Preparation

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180°.
  • Place the puff pastry in a buttered pie dish and prick it with a fork.
  • Bake it for 20 minutes.
  • Drain the figs.
  • Remove the tails from the figs, cut them lengthwise, and fry them in a pan with the butter until they caramelise.
  • Take the pastry out of the oven and place the cheese cut into regular pieces so that it covers the entire pastry.
  • Cover with the warm figs.
  • With a fork, drizzle a little honey over the mixture, season with pepper and add the nuts.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 220°C.
  • Enjoy while still warm.
